About the event
Has your landlord treated you unfairly? Do you have questions about eviction, foreclosure, or your legal rights as a tenant? Have you experienced housing discrimination based on race, color, sex, national origin, disability, age, or family status? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this event is for you!
Legal Aid Works and the NAACP Fauquier Branch are pleased to invite you to a FREE Fair Housing/Tenants' Rights Forum. This informative event aims to empower individuals with knowledge about their rights as tenants and provide guidance on navigating housing issues.
Whether you are facing challenges with your landlord, have concerns about eviction or foreclosure, or want to understand your legal protections as a tenant, our panel of speakers will address these topics and more. They will provide valuable insights, answer your questions, and offer practical advice to help you assert and protect your rights.
This will be a hybrid event, giving you the flexibility to choose how to participate. You may join us either in person or online, depending on your preference and convenience. Walk-ins are welcome, so feel free to drop by if you're in the area.
